Who We Are

Lamb's Fold Center for Women and Children is a nonprofit human services organization providing transitional housing and residential domestic violence services to homeless women and children. We are an organization with nondenominational Christian beliefs and values, but we deeply respect the belief systems of other faiths. We encourage our residents to participate and become invested in the church or house of worship of their choosing because we believe the benefits gained from that spiritual foundation are very helpful to women and children recovering from trauma; indeed, for all of us.
Lamb's Fold Center for Women and Children is a program of Christian Family Ministries, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are registered with and in good standing with the State of Illinois. We are a member of the United Way of Will County.
We offer a comprehensive set of supportive services to assist women who are homeless due to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, financial crisis, unemployment, untimely pregnancy, or other critical situations.
These supportive services assist women to regain their dignity, independence, and self-sufficiency.
