Volunteerism
One of the best ways to get involved in the ministry of the Lamb's Fold is through volunteering. Volunteer hours make up the equivalent of 10 annual full-time employees at the Lamb's Fold. Volunteers keep costs down while utilizing the gifts and talents of those in our communities.
Some of the things volunteers do at Lamb's Fold:
- Clothing Room - Sort clothing items
- Food Pantry - Sort food items
-
(All fundraising activities must be approved in advance by Executive Director)
-
Child Care - Assist staff in watching children (1-2 hrs)
-
Yard Maintenance - Cut grass at least once weekly, trim bushes as needed, pull weeds.
-
Keep property free of debris. Snow removal in season as needed.
-
General Maintenance - Paint walls and trim in common areas, etc.
-
Occasional repair/maintenance help is needed.
-
Errand Person - pick up needed donations, run errands.
-
Holiday Helpers - Answer door, receive donations
-
Pick up donations, sort donations, wrap gifts, etc.
