Lamb's Fold Center for Women and Children is a non-profit Christian human services organization providing transitional housing and residential domestic violence services to homeless women and children.
We offer encouragement, tolerance, care and compassion to women of all faiths and backgrounds who have found themselves in a homeless situation due to domestic violence, financial crisis, loss of employment, pregnancy, or physical or emotional distress.
Our program goal is to equip women to become self-sufficient through education and physical, financial, emotional and spiritual recovery.
The regular program for Lamb's Fold residents lasts eighteen months, with the opportunity for a 6-month extension if needed. Residents enjoy a comprehensive set of supportive services to help them attain educational and vocational training goals and achieve recovery into self-sufficiency.
Supportive services include:
- Food, shelter, clothing

The Lamb's Fold program is divided into three phases:
Biopsychosocial-spiritual assessment; identification of assets and short-term and long-term goals.
Intensive Case Management; resource linkage and ongoing monitoring of progress.
Transition to self-sufficiency, including follow-up services.

Residents enjoy the opportunity to interact with area business professionals, service providers, and healthcare professionals, at workshops on employment topics, parenting, health issues, recovery issues, time management, money management, home records management, etc.
A chaplain is available to meet with residents upon their request to offer spiritual support and guidance. Residents are encouraged to attend the church of their choice as we have found the most successful residents are those who have the support of a house of worship.
Upon completion of our transitional program, residents who qualify are eligible to participate in our Permanent Housing Program, a federally-subsidized program to place women disabled by mental illness and their children in their own furnished apartment. Permanent Housing residents receive all the same supportive services as shelter residents.
